We’re Knoxville’s “One Stop Event Shop” for a reason. We don’t just “do balloons” – we design installations that stop people in their tracks. We’re the balloon crew for the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!), and we do this 40+ hours a week. No weekend-warrior hobbyists here, just full-time trained pros who live for that “Wow” factor.

We’re a team of six, but the core is made up of Tim, Ryan, and Heike.
Tim and Ryan are long-time balloon pros and event specialists in their own right. They’ve seen every venue, handled every curveball, awed every crowd, and know exactly how to make a room look like a million bucks. Between the three of us, you’re getting decades of combined event expertise, not just a couple of people with a balloon pump.
The Heart: Resilience and Second Chances
Our story isn’t just about decor; it’s about grit.
Heike – the owner of Volunteer Balloons – is a burn survivor and we’re former military family with a disabled vet at the helm. We know firsthand that life is a gift, and every moment is worth a massive celebration.
Because of our history, we have a massive debt of gratitude to all first responder heroes and our fellow soldiers and veterans who make these moments possible. We bring that same “mission-first” attitude to every installation we build.
